About Us & Policies

Anyone who is familiar with the name, Ray Barton Racing Engines (RBRE), knows that we are directly connected with the world’s front running Chrysler and COPO drag cars.  Besides building NHRA competition engines, RBRE develops and assembles all types of internal combustion engines.  RBRE specializes in different levels of engine preparation, whether a daily driver, factory restoration, or an all out race engine.

In addition to building complete engine combinations, RBRE also offers full product lines from parts suppliers you know and trust. RBRE works hand-in-hand with Chrysler, GM and other major manufacturers for parts design and development. This means that many of the products used already have RBRE expertise built in.

At RBRE, 99% of the services provided are done in-house on state-of-the-art equipment. Every RBRE customer benefits from hands on experience. RBRE understands that their success depends on their customer’s satisfaction.

Complete Engine Shipments

At Ray Barton Racing Engines, Inc., all of the engines are handled with care from beginning to end, including our shipping procedures.

When your completed engine is ready for shipment, we drain all fluids from the engine and attach it to a shipping cradle. We then place the engine into a pre-fabricated wooden crate that is rated for 3000 lbs and securely fasten it to a pallet.

Once the engine is set into place, we plug all holes and bag the entire engine to prevent any foreign debris from entering the engine during shipment.

The wooden crate also allows ample space surrounding the engine so that you may include any additional merchandise that you may have purchased. Please note that large items such as headers cannot be included in the engine crate and will require additional shipments.

Call today for a free shipping estimate anywhere in the U.S. and Canada. Although we currently do not offer overseas freight options, we will gladly work with you and/or your designated broker to facilitate any foreign transaction.

In order to provide you with an accurate shipping quote, please be sure to have the following information readily available:

1. Shipping Address
2. Will the shipment be delivered to a residential or commercial area?
3. Will you require a lift gate or will this location provide the use of a fork lift to unload the shipment?

All of our freight shipments are prepaid. However, all duties, taxes, and brokerage fees for Canadian shipments are the responsibility of the recipient.
