Over the last 4 decades, Ray Barton Racing Engines has provided quality service and dedication to the standard of excellence. Using only the most innovative technology and equipment available to produce goods that transcend all others. The majority of our labor is performed on the premises to control the condition of the final product. Our multitude of accomplishments and worldwide clientele speak volumes about the superiority of our services.
Our Rottler F69A CNC Machine precisely corrects all machined surfaces. It features a probing function that allows us to review the locations of the existing machine work and correct it accordingly to any size and location requested. Most of our customers are surprised by the variances in machine work, even with brand new blocks. The 4th axis also permits us to machine your lifter bores to virtually any angle your block can handle.

This tool is perfect for cams that do not have a part number to identify the cam profile. You can also overlay multiple cams to compare profile differences.
Valvetrain Analysis using our Spintron
Using the Laser Valve Tracking System can precisely identify, document and record crucial characteristics of the valvetrain such as valve bounce, lofting, spring harmonics, and pushrod deflection.
The Spintron allows you to compare valvetrain stability at various RPM's, which is a precise way to prove or disprove new products, theories and materials.
Every engine that we build is tested using our DTS dyno. Our dyno provides vital information to ensure that each and every engine is performing as expected before it leaves the building.
We encourage every one of our clients to attend the dyno session. It is always enjoyable and entertaining to see their engine in action. If this isn't feasible, we also offer video footage of the dyno session.
Anyone that wants to bring their own engine to be tested is also welcomed.
